Message from the President



ISCaP is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 as the International Society of Cancer Chemoprevention (ISCaC), in 2003 re-named to ISCaP, the International Society of Cancer Prevention.

.
Our founding organizations include:

  • Strang Cancer Prevention Center, New York

  • American-Italian Cancer Foundation, New York

  • European School of Oncology, Milan

  • Istituto Tumori-Fondazione Pascale, Naples

  • Japan Society for Cancer Prevention, Tokyo

  • Center for Tumor detection and Prevention, (ZeTuP) St. Gallen

The mission of the Society is:

  • to provide an international forum for research and development in cancer chemoprevention and early diagnosis (screening).

  • to hold meetings to promote interaction among laboratory, epidemiological and clinical researchers in cancer chemoprevention and early detection.

  • to conduct educational activities to enhance professional and public understanding of cancer chemoprevention and early cancer detection.
